A scientific model for analyzing and mapping ecosystem services. It assesses how changes in land use and land cover influence processes such as water yield, sediment retention, nutrient reduction and carbon storage. In WaterProof, it works as the biophysical basis for estimating the benefits that nature brings to water management and turning them into useful information for decision-making.

It is a decision-support model that helps prioritize investments in Nature-based Solutions within a watershed. In WaterProof, it makes it possible to identify which areas to intervene in and which actions to implement in order to improve water services such as erosion control, water quality, water regulation and risk reduction.

FastFlood supports flood analysis by simulating hazard, adaptation and NbS scenarios. In WaterProof, it makes it possible to identify changes in flood depth, velocity and extent, analyze the areas that benefit, and generate inputs for estimating exposure, economic benefits and potential avoided damages.
